Senator Cortese's "Consumer Scam Stopper" Town Hall - 9/30/21
Scams can target anyone.
On Thursday September 30th at 6:00pm, Senator Dave Cortese will be joined by representatives from the Contractors State License Board, the California Department of Insurance, and the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation for a presentation and Q&A discussion that will cover a range of some of the most common scams targeting seniors and others. I will also discuss state legislation - including my own bill, SB 461, that has been signed into law - that will combat this type of fraud.
