With heavy storms and a Flood Watch issued for the Bay Area beginning this Wednesday, please be aware of some essential flood preparedness resources

• Residents of Santa Clara County can find free, filled sandbags at sites listed here
• Valley Waterhosts a watershed hotline where residents can report spills, blockages, or dumping in creeks at 408-630-2378
• You can sign up for emergency and disaster updates through Santa Clara County’s emergency alert system AlertSCC
• Visit Valley Water’s ALERT (Automated Local Evaluation in Real Time) to monitor water levels of streams and reservoirsas well as precipitation levels
• More floodsafety tips and preparedness resources can be found at valleywater.org/floodready
